People are in fact misinformed, thinking it’s normal to starve themselves and feel hunger when they’re trying to drop a few kilograms. Fortunately, if you know how to combine a couple of natural ingredients, you will speed up your metabolism which will make you lose weight more quickly.
A study from the Iranian University was able to prove this. The people involved in this study were split into 2 groups. Each group had 44 women who wished to lose some weight.
Throughout the period of 3 months, these ladies were all placed on a healthy diet, consuming less than 500 calories per day.
What was different were the spices. The first one took 3 grams of powdered cumin each day. Most of the women normally mixed their cumin with 140 g of yogurt. The second one ate the exact amount of yogurt however without the cumin.
The outcome shocked everyone. The women from the first group ended up losing even 14 pounds more than the group that did not consume cumin!
They also lost much more fat than those of the second group e.g. the first group lost 14.64% of fat, and the second one merely 4.91% of fat which is a pretty big difference.
The thing about cumin is that it contains filosterole which happens to be an incredibly strong compound that can prevent the cholesterol retention in your body. A number of scientists assure that this compound does wonders in terms of speeding up the metabolism.
